Hi,

This is exercise for low back pain. ( I have attached one demo picture. See below.)
20 mints time.
Proper time 6 am to 7am.

Within 4 days you can feel good result.
But continue minimum 10 days maximum 35 days.

After 30 minutes drink watermelon juice

Causes :

Low back pain is not a specific disease but rather a complaint that may be caused by a large number of underlying problems of varying levels of seriousness.

The majority of LBP does not have a clear cause but is believed to be the result of non-serious muscle or skeletal issues such as sprains or strains. Obesity, smoking, weight gain during pregnancy, stress, poor physical condition, poor posture and poor sleeping position may also contribute to low back pain. A full list of possible causes includes many less common conditions. Physical causes may include osteoarthritis, degeneration of the discs between the vertebrae or a spin.

Women may have acute low back pain from medical conditions affecting the female reproductive system, including endometriosis, ovarian cysts, ovarian cancer, or uterine fibroids. Nearly half of all pregnant women report pain in the lower back or sacral area during pregnancy, due to changes in their posture and center of gravity causing muscle and ligament strain.

Low back pain can be broadly classified into four main categories:

1. Musculoskeletal - mechanical (including muscle strain, muscle spasm, or osteoarthritis); herniated nucleus pulposus, herniated disk; spinal stenosis; or compression fracture.

2. Inflammatory - HLA-B27 associated arthritis including ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and inflammatory bowel disease.

3. Malignancy - bone metastasis from lung, breast, prostate, thyroid, amongabscess.

4. Infectious - osteomyelitis; abscess.

Pain sensation.

Pain is generally an unpleasant feeling in response to an event that either damages or can potentially damage the body's tissues. There are four main steps in the process of feeling pain: transduction, transmission, perception, and modulation.

The nerve cells that detect pain have cell bodies located in the dorsal root ganglia and fibers that transmit these signals to the spinal cord. The process of pain sensation starts when the pain-causing event triggers the endings of appropriate

different types of nerve fibers carry out the transmission of the electrical signal from the transducing cell to the posterior horn of spinal cord, from there to the brain stem, and then from the brain stem to the various parts of the brain such as the thalamus and the limbic system. In the brain, the pain signals are processed and given context in the process of pain perception. Through modulation, the brain can modify the sending of further nerve impulses by decreasing or increasing the release of neurotransmitters.

Parts of the pain sensation and processing system may not function properly; creating the feeling of pain when no outside cause exists, signaling too much pain from a particular cause, or signaling pain from a normally non-painful event. Additionally, the pain modulation mechanisms may not function properly. These phenomena are involved in chronic pain.

So follow this back pain exercises 35 days, 20 min everyday morning. Back pain will be solved. Be happy.

But I know we are thinking exercise is very difficult... You can ask me any syrup or tablets.  :)

please plan today place, time for do exercise. And purchase dress today.

If you purchase dress you will do exercise automatically. :)

Thanks.

Exercises for upper back pain (UBP)

Posted by Saravanan V 0 comments

Hi.
This is exercise for upper back pain.

( I have attached one demo picture. See below.)

20 mints time.
Proper time 6 am to 7am.

This point is really effective.

Within 4 days you can feel good result.
But continue minimum 10 days.

After 30 minutes eat one banana.

Before doing exercises you must know about back pain causes.

Causes for back pain:

Just as with pain in the lower back, upper back pain can be the result of a number of different factors. These range from something as simple as bad posture, to sudden injury or trauma.

Muscular injury or joint disruption (inflammation) – this is the most likely cause of upper back pain. Muscular injury most often occurs in the muscles around the shoulder. The main joint of the shoulder, the glenohumeral joint, connects the upper arm with the torso. This joint is arguably the most manoeuvrable in the whole body – but this feature also makes it the most unstable. To compensate for this vulnerability, the shoulder is made up of a number of strong muscles which support the joint, but allow it a wide degree of movement. These muscles cover the upper back and shoulder, and are very prone to injury which can, in turn, lead to pain.

Lifestyle factors – there are certain factors in your life which may contribute to your upper back pain, by repeatedly stressing one area of your back.

These factors include:

1. Not enough exercise, or exercising too much with the wrong technique

2. Being overweight

 3. Sitting for too long, particularly with incorrect posture

4.  Lifting heavy objects

5. Continually high levels of stress

Other causes – there is a range of medical conditions which may result in upper back pain.

General causes as follows:

Most people have back pain at some point in their lives. Most of the time, back pain symptoms aren't due to a serious health issue such as arthritis or a fracture. In fact, the culprit could be as innocent as your mattress or your favorite pair of shoes. If you experience back pain after an injury or if your back pain is severe or lasts more than a few days, see your doctor. In the meantime, be aware that some of your everyday habits could be contributing to your pain.

1. A poor diet:

The most important thing you can do for back pain is to reach and maintain a healthy weight. “The slimmer the society, the fewer back problems,” says Neil Kirschen, MD, medical director of the Pain Management Center at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y. A diet that’s high in fat and overloaded with calories will lead to weight gain, which can lead to back pain as well as painful joints.

2. Lack of Exercise.

Being sedentary can lead to weight gain and back pain symptoms. On the other hand, exercise gives you the muscle tone needed to support your back and keep it pain-free. Your bones are suspended in air and need the strength of your muscles and ligaments to keep them in place, Dr. Kirschen says. Keeping your back tight and strong with exercise will help you avoid back pain. Cardiovascular and strength exercises are great, but don’t forget yoga and stretching, which are also important, he says.

3. Slumped shoulders:

Poor posture also factors among back pain causes. Your ears should be over your shoulders, your shoulders over your hip joints, and your hips over your ankles, Kirschen says. “Our society has a head-forward posture,” he says, but leaning your head forward or slumping your shoulders can pull on your back and cause pain. Make a conscious effort to maintain good posture during the day to ease or help prevent back pain.

4. Your office chair:

Back pain can result any time you stay in one position for an extended period of time, whether it’s sitting in an office chair a driver's seat, or standing in one place for your job. Pain can set in even when you sit down for a three-hour movie or sleep in for several hours. The more pressure you have on the discs in your spine, the more the discs will wear away, Kirschen says. The human body was meant to move, so to relieve or avoid pain, get up from the computer at least every hour to take a short walk, and choose an aisle seat at the movie theater to stretch your legs

5. Worn-out shoes.

We all know that stilettos are not the best shoes for your back. But even a sensible pair of shoes can change your gait and lead to back pain if the soles are worn, Kirschen says, so be sure to replace old shoes. Keep in mind that fit is most important to keep your footwear from causing back pain as well as foot pain. Someone with a high arch will feel better with a heel rather than a flat shoe, while someone with a flat foot will feel better wearing a flat shoe rather than a heel, he adds.

6. An old mattress:

A mattress should give you uniform support, so there shouldn’t be air between your body and the mattress when you lie down. Experts recommend going with a mattress that has medium firmness to avoid back pain symptoms. But probably the most important factor is the age of your mattress, Kirschen says. If you’re sinking in when you lie down, it’s probably time to get a new one to help keep back pain away.

7. An unsupportive Bra:

Carrying more weight in front because of large breasts can be a back pain cause. This can throw off the curve of your spine and lead to upper back problems, Kirschen says. Wearing a bra that gives you the right support can help keep the weight closer to your body and help you avoid back pain. Think of carrying a knapsack that fits tight to your body — when it fits better, you walk straighter and keep a better posture, he says. And that means less or no pain.

8. Your Shoulder Bag:

Any time you have to balance the weight of a purse, shoulder bag, or even a heavy wallet in a back pocket (which can put pressure on your sciatic nerve and cause pain), you change the curve of your spine and that can lead to back pain. Before you grab your wallet or purse the next time you leave the house, ask yourself if you really need to haul it around with you. At the least, clean out your purse and wallet and leave most of your cards in a drawer at home so you have less to carry and won’t aggravate back pain symptoms, Kirschen recommends.

9. That Cigarette:

There are many reasons to quit smoking, but here's one more: Cigarettes hurt more than just your heart and lungs. In fact, smoking deprives cells all over your body of oxygen, Kirschen says, including those that control the motion of your back. Studies show that smokers are more than twice as likely to develop lower back pain than those who have never smoked.

Acupuncture points for sinus

Tuesday, November 24, 2015 Posted by Saravanan V
Hi.
Today I would like to write about sinuses.
My view is disease and effective treatment points.
So many patients are fully satisfied after given this point.
Yes. LI 4, LI 20, ST 3, BL 2.

Note. Please give treatment face both side. Left and right.
( I have attached pointed images below)
Many environmental irritants can worsen your sinus problems, such apollution, cigarette smoke, cleaning products, and any other material that gives off fumes.
If you smoke, it's important to quit. Avoid others who smoke, or ask them to smoke outside. On high air pollution days, stay indoors if possible.
OK...

Here i added some useful information about Causes of sinus trouble.
Sinus infection relief. By Kristin Koch
Sinus infections, the cause of untold misery, strike about 37 million people in the U.S. each year.
On the surface of things, the cause of sinus trouble is clear. Teeny holes that connect your nasal passages to your sinuses (basically a collection of hollow, moist cavities that lurk beneath your nose, eyes, and cheeks) get blocked. Then gunk builds up in your sinuses, germs may grow, and you feel, well, hideous.
But the cause of the blockage is sometimes trickier to figure out. Here are 13 things that can cause an acute sinus infection (the most common type) and, in some cases, lead to a chronic sinus infection.
1. Viruses:
Most sinus infections start with a cold. Colds are caused by a virus, which can make nasal tissue swell, blocking the holes that normally drain sinuses.
If your sinus infection is caused by a virus, antibiotics won’t help since these drugs kill only bacteria. Your symptoms will probably get better after about a week or so. A decongestant can help, but don’t use it for more than four or five days to avoid becoming dependent.
The best defenses against these sinus infections are the same things that protect against colds and the flu. In other words, get a flu shot, wash your hands, and don’t chill with the visibly ill.

2. Allergies:
Because inflammation can block the nasal passages and prevent draining, allergies are often associated with sinus infections. In fact, studies have shown that people with sinus infections who have allergies tend to have more extensive sinusitis, says Sonia Bains, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Allergy, and Sleep Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina.
If you’re prone to allergies or hay fever, avoid things that trigger allergic reactions, such as dust mites, pet dander, mold, and cockroaches. Prescription or over-the-counter antihistamines and prescription nasal sprays can reduce chronic inflammation in the sinuses and nasal lining.

3. Bacteria:
If a cold does not resolve in 10 to 15 days, bacteria may have joined the party.
Bacterial infections rarely jump-start sinus infections, but they are almost always the cause of complicating, secondary infections, says William J. Hueston, MD, professor and chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston. In these cases, it's most likelyStreptococcus pneumoniae or Haemophilus influenzae.
These bacteria lurk in healthy people; they’re waiting for the right circumstances to grow. Take a decongestant during a cold to avoid those circumstances. If you do develop bacterial sinusitis, you can treat it with antibiotics.

4. Polyps
Nasal polyps are small, benign growths that develop from nose or sinus tissues and can cause the sinus cavities to become blocked, preventing mucus from draining and leading to sinus infection. These little gems can also restrict airway passages, which can in turn trigger headaches.
Chronic allergies can cause long-term swollen and scarred areas of the nasal passages and polyps, according to Dr. Hueston. People with nasal polyps often have a decreased sense of smell.
Polyps are treated with nasal steroid sprays or a short course of oral steroids, and if steroid treatments don’t work, surgery may be necessary.

5. Irritating pollutants.
Allergens and pollutants in the air—like dust, outdoor air pollution, and strong odors like perfume—may contribute to coughing, irritate your nose, and cause inflammation that can increase your risk of sinusitis, according to Dr. Bains.
Avoid these irritants as much as possible to reduce the occurrence of sinus infections, particularly if you suffer from allergies or asthma. An air purifier may also reduce pollutants in the air.

6. Swimming and diving:
If you’re prone to sinus infections or congestion, avoid spending long periods in chlorinated pools, as chlorine can irritate your nasal lining and sinuses.
Diving into water can be a problem too. The pressure during a dive can push water into your sinuses, and irritate and inflame the tissue.

7. Flying:
Travel a lot for work or pleasure? It could aggravate your sinuses.
When the air pressure is reduced in-flight, it can cause pressure to build up in your head, which in turn can block your sinuses and air passages and aggravate cold symptoms. This is particularly problematic during takeoff and landing.
If you’re congested or suffer from frequent sinus infections but can’t miss your flight, use a decongestant nasal drop or inhaler before takeoff to keep your sinuses clear.
8. Fungi:
"Fungi are very unusual causes of sinus infections," says Dr. Hueston. While fungal sinus infections can occur in healthy individuals, they are most common in people with weakened immune systems.
When your immune system is vulnerable, fungi can grow, especially in damp and dark environments—aka your sinuses. The most common fungus associated with sinusitis isAspergillus.
In some people, chronic sinusitis can be caused by an allergic reaction to a fungus.
Treatments may include surgery to remove the fungi, antifungal therapy, or scraping the infected sinus. See your doctor if you have fever, headache, and vision problems for more than 10 days.

9. Overuse of nasal products:
While it’s true that nasal decongestant sprays relieve congestion—they constrict the blood vessels in the nose—you should avoid prolonged use of over-the-counter nasal sprays, as they can make your symptoms worse if not used as directed.
If you use sprays for an extended period of time, you can become less sensitive to their effects so that your nose becomes swollen again, a condition known as rebound nasal congestion, says Dr. Bains.
As a result, prolonged use of OTC nasal sprays can lead to dependency, adds Dr. Hueston, who recommends that people who use sprays to treat cold symptoms stop after four or five days.

10. Smoking
Like air pollutants, cigarette and cigar smoke can also irritate your nose and cause inflammation, thereby making you more susceptible to sinus infections.
"People who smoke may be at higher risk [of sinus infections], because their natural sinus-cleaning system is damaged by cigarette smoke," says Dr. Hueston. "So they accumulate more ‘junk’ in the sinuses, which can clog passages when they have a cold."

11. Lack of moisture or dry air
When mucus is trapped in the nasal passages for long periods of time, it can lose water and thicken. The result? It worsens symptoms and makes sinusitis more likely.
Therefore, doctors recommend you keep your nose as moist as possible. Start by drinking lots of water and avoiding caffeine, and use a humidifier to keep indoor air moist during the winter.
The occasional use of nasal irrigation treatments, like saline sprays, may also help treat or prevent sinusitis symptoms.OK.
I'll come tomorrow with next disease and treatment points.
Thanks.

Acupuncture points for insomnia

Monday, November 23, 2015 Posted by Saravanan V
Hi,
Today i will discuss about insomnia.
Insomnia, also known as trouble sleeping, is a sleep disorder in which there is trouble to fall asleep or to stay asleep as long as desired.
Types:
1. Transient insomnia lasts for less than a week.
2. Acute insomnia is the inability to consistently sleep well for a period of less than a month.
3. Chronic insomnia lasts for longer than a month. It can be caused by another disorder, or it can be a primary disorder.
Risk factors:
Insomnia affects people of all age groups but people in the following groups have a higher chance of acquiring insomnia.
1. Individuals older than 60
2. History of mental health disorder including depression, etc.
3. Emotional stress
4. Working late night shift.
Common causes of insomnia included:
Stress. Concerns about work, school, health or family can keep your mind active at night, making it difficult to sleep. Stressful life events — such as the death or illness of a loved one, divorce, or a job loss — may lead to insomnia.
Anxiety. Everyday anxieties as well as more-serious anxiety disorders, such as post-traumatic stress disorder, may disrupt your asleep. Worry about being able to go to sleep can make it harder to fall asleep.
Depression. You might either sleep too much or have trouble sleeping if you're depressed. Insomnia often occurs with other mental health disorders as well.
Medical conditions. If you have chronic pain, breathing difficulties or a need to urinate frequently, you might develop insomnia. Examples of conditions linked with insomnia include arthritis, cancer, heart failure, lung disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), overactive thyroid, stroke, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease.
Change in your environment or work schedule. Travel or working a late or early shift can disrupt your body's circadian rhythms, making it difficult to sleep. Your circadian rhythms act as an internal clock, guiding such things as your sleep-wake cycle, metabolism and body temperature.
Poor sleep habits. Poor sleep habits include an irregular sleep schedule, stimulating activities before bed, an uncomfortable sleep environment, and use of your bed for activities other than sleep or sex.
Medications. Many prescription drugs can interfere with sleep, including some antidepressants, heart and blood pressure medications, allergy medications, stimulants (such as Ritalin), and corticosteroids. Many over-the-counter (OTC) medications — including some pain medication combinations, decongestants and weight-loss products — contain caffeine and other stimulants.
Caffeine, nicotine and alcohol. Coffee, tea, cola and other caffeine-containing drinks are well-known stimulants. Drinking coffee in the late afternoon and later can keep you from falling asleep at night. Nicotine in tobacco products is another stimulant that can cause insomnia. Alcohol is a sedative that may help you fall asleep, but it prevents deeper stages of sleep and often causes you to awaken in the middle of the night.
Eating too much late in the evening. Having a light snack before bedtime is OK, but eating too much may cause you to feel physically uncomfortable while lying down, making it difficult to get to sleep. Many people also experience heartburn, a backflow of acid and food from the stomach into the esophagus after eating, which may keep you awake.ss. Concerns about work, school, health or family can keep your mind active at night, making it difficult to sleep. Stressful life events — such as the death or illness of a loved one, divorce, or a job loss — may lead to insomnia.

Treatment:
It is important to identify or rule out medical and psychological causes before deciding on the treatment for insomnia.
So many behavioral therapy available. But effective treatments is acupuncture treatment only solving fast and permanent.
Treatment 3 times per week.

Acupuncture point for OCD

Friday, November 20, 2015 Posted by Saravanan V 0 comments
Hi,

Today i am talking about OCD. yes Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. but don't confused with personality disorder.

OCD is mental disorder where people feel the need to check things or object repeatedly, have certain thoughts repeatedly. they are unable to control either the thoughts or the activities. they common act is hand washing, counting of object and things, check to see if a window/door is locked or not.

This symptoms to begin after the age of 35 and half of people develop problems before twenty. females and males are affected about equally.

Treatment is behavioral  therapy (BT) and cognitive behavioral  therapy (CBT) and medications are first treatment for ocd.

also acupuncture treatment using in asia country. this treatment also decrease ocd.

Point is: SP 4.

Info noted from wikipedia, and yinyanghouse.

Despite much research being carried out into obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), the exact cause of the condition has not yet been identified.

However, a number of different factors that may play a role in the condition have been suggested. These are described below.

Genetics
Genetics is thought to play a part in some cases of OCD. Research suggests OCD may be the result of certain inherited genes that affect the development of the brain.

Although no specific genes have been linked to OCD, there is some evidence that suggests a person with OCD is more likely to have another family member with the condition compared with someone who does not have OCD.

However, it is possible there may sometimes be other reasons for this. For example, it has been suggested some people may "learn" OCD as a result of witnessing other family members with the condition.

Brain difference.
Brain imaging studies have shown some people with OCD have differences in certain parts of their brain, including increased activity and blood flow, and a lack of the brain chemical serotonin.

The areas of the brain affected deal with strong emotions and how we respond to those emotions. In the studies, brain activity returned to normal after successful treatment.

Serotonim
Serotonin may play a part in OCD. This brain chemical transmits information from one brain cell to another and is known as a neurotransmitter.

Serotonin is responsible for regulating a number of the body's functions, including mood, anxiety, memory and sleep.

It is not known for sure how serotonin contributes to OCD, but some people with the condition appear to have decreased levels of the chemical in their brain.

Medication that increases the levels of serotonin in the brain, such as certain types of antidepressants have proven effective in treating OCD.

Life events
OCD may be more common in people with a history of having experienced emotional, physical or sexual abuse, neglect, social isolation, teasing or bullying.

An important life event, such as a bereavement, family break-up, a new job, pregnancy or childbirth, may also trigger OCD in people who already have a tendency to develop the condition – for example, because of genetic factors – and may affect the course of the condition.

For example, the death of a loved one may trigger a fear that someone in your family will be harmed.

Stress seems to make the symptoms of OCD worse, but does not cause OCD on its own.

Personality.
People with certain personality traits may be more likely to have OCD. For example, if you are a neat, meticulous, methodical person with high standards – a "perfectionist" – you may be more likely to develop the condition.

OCD may also be a result of simply being more prone to becoming tense and anxious than most people, or having a very strong sense of responsibility for yourself and other.

Thanks.

Acupuncture points for lung cancer

Wednesday, November 18, 2015 Posted by Saravanan V 0 comments
Hi.
This article for lung cancer Acupuncture points.

Acupuncture points for lung cancer.
New research find acupuncture effective for the treatment of lungs cancer symptoms.

Limited time 45 min.
Duration : 1 to 2 days per week
Points: LI4, LIV3, ST36, SP6, LU7.
needle depth : 1 - 2.5 cm.

Note: this points taken from lung Cancer foundation. Samantha Powell.

Causes of lung cancer

Most cases of lung cancer are caused by smoking, although people who have never smoked can also develop the condition.

Smoking

Smoking cigarettes is the single biggest risk factor for lung cancer. It's responsible for more than 85% of all cases.

Tobacco smoke contains more than 60 different toxic substances, which can lead to the development of cancer. These substances are known to be carcinogenic (cancer-producing).

If you smoke more than 25 cigarettes a day, you are 25 times more likely to get lung cancer than a non-smoker.

While smoking cigarettes is the biggest risk factor, using other types of tobacco products can also increase your risk of developing lung cancer and other types of cancer, such asoesophageal cancer and mouth cancer. These products include:

  1. cigars
  2. Pipe tobacco
  3. snuff (a powdered form of tobacco)
  4. chewing tobacco

Smoking cannabis has also been linked to an increased risk of lung cancer. Most cannabis smokers mix their cannabis with tobacco. While they tend to smoke less than tobacco smokers, they usually inhale more deeply and hold the smoke in their lungs for longer.

It's been estimated that smoking four joints (homemade cigarettes mixed with cannabis) may be as damaging to the lungs as smoking 20 cigarettes.

Even smoking cannabis without mixing it with tobacco is potentially dangerous. This is because cannabis also contains substances that can cause cancer.

Passive smoking

If you don't smoke, frequent exposure to other people’s tobacco smoke (passive smoking) can increase your risk of developing lung cancer.

For example, research has found that non-smoking women who share their house with a smoking partner are 25% more likely to develop lung cancer than non-smoking women who live with a non-smoking partner.

Radon

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that comes from tiny amounts of uranium present in all rocks and soils. It can sometimes be found in buildings.

If radon is breathed in, it can damage your lungs, particularly if you're a smoker. Radon is estimated to be responsible for about 3% of all lung cancer deaths in England.

Occupational exposure and pollution

Exposure to certain chemicals and substances used in several occupations and industries has been linked to a slightly higher risk of developing lung cancer.
